Case Study: CensusUp Web Presence and Messaging

Screenshot of http://censusup.comI recently completed Phase I of a project for CensusUp where I learned a ton about the senior housing industry. CensusUp is made up of a group of entrepreneurs who all have specialized experience in various aspects of this industry (sales or increasing census, energy efficiency, regulatory compliance, real estate transactions and operations) . The company was born out of the principals’ ability to see the market potential given the aging population in the U.S. But it also came through their first-hand experience in finding senior housing for loved ones. Here’s a summary of the project and the deliverables:

Challenge – Create a presence on the web that defined CensusUp and distinguished them from other firms servicing the senior housing industry.  Secondarily, they needed to establish the processes for collecting and servicing customer leads.

Solution – A templated web presence using WordPress supported by social media and InfusionSoft as their CRM

Overview– CensusUp had a tight budget and therefore the use of digital media was a perfect way to evolve and distribute their message. The use of the WordPress platform met the functional requirements of integrating their CRM, allowing for multiple publishers to publish dynamic content yet elegantly display static content, and easily integrating social media elements. Social media elements were tied together so that content could be published once and appear in multiple places

Deliverables

  • Website functional specifications
  • Navigation architecture of website
  • Creative brief that guided website messaging
  • Creation and/or aggregation of all website content
  • Launch of a templated WordPress site
  • Management and integration of Infusionft CRM into website
