On March 4, 2026 I was a speaker at the Pivot with Purpose event. This event was sponsored by Johns Hopkins University, Virginia CareerWorks, the DC Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education, the Maryland Department of Labor, SkillSource Group, the DC Investment Board, and Virginia Works. These organizations brought together several resources in support of mid- to senior-level professionals who are navigating career transition, exploring new opportunities, or seeking renewed momentum in their professional journey.
I was thrilled to conduct one of the workshops targeting executive re-entry. In the workshop I highlighted the similarities in the work I do with entrepreneurs who are finding their market with the strategic work job seekers can do when looking for theirs. I also discussed how to leverage professional development organizations (like Women in Technology!), LinkedIn, creating a Personal Advisory Board and more.
